Hey there stubhoycfc1! Are you able to play other games online? Or are you only having trouble with Blops2? Since you've purchased gold, have you tried downloading your profile? Sometimes the subscription just needs an extra kick! Let us know. :)

same problem here. downloaded all the freebees for Black Ops 2, and now I can not play Black Ops 2 online. other games work fine. Black ops 2 = connection to xbox live lost!!!

Some user's are having this issue when upgrading to Gold Membership, this seems to resolve the problem.
Delete your profile from your xbox, to do so:
My Xbox > System Settings > Storage > Gamer Profile's > Delete Profile ONLY
Recover your profile back to your xbox
Press the guide button on your xbox > Download Profile > Follow the steps to recover your account.
This should fix it, if not please post back and let us know.
Note:You will need to know your windows live ID associatedwith your account to recover it.

I cant play not only black ops 2, but halo reach, max payne, i only can play battlefield 3, the others i just cant play and disconnect me from live.... i tried everything, since ports, my connection is wired, i tried to do this erase profile thing since i have that error 800.... i read here in the foruns, thats because of the last update, but i even cant erase my profile, i erase all the ones i didnt use but the one i use i cant erase it...... i thought the problem is from the games itself, but it just cant be, so many games and none do..... i think this just start to happen with the last dashboard update..... i only know i never ever got problems gaming online, and now, i just cant play my games only battlefield 3....
I wish you can help-me because the live is expensive and the games are too.... black ops 2 , 70 euros and i cant play it....

the error is 8007274c, and i already erase my profile, i just did it, load it again, erase my system cache, open ports on my modem, etc....
I cant play none of my games online, black ops1, black ops 2, max payne, halo reach.... when i try to play a multiplayer match they all give-me the same error..... after i wait a few sec/min, kick me out from xbox live and a message says" the sign in changed", then i sign in to live and sometimes the 8007274c error appears....
i dont know what to think anymore , i never had any problems, and now since the last dash update i just cant play.....
If it was from the game servers, i would be able to play some of this games, if it was from my isp connection, i cant either play battlefield 3, i already played all this games except black ops 2, with my isp connection, so i must assume its from the last dash....
Help-me here please... im loosing hope here lol

My copy of the game won't even start up now. It worked fine yesterday. I go to start it back up after a break and before the game is even able to start up, it kicks me offline and reverts back to dashboard.
